Terms and Conditions For USERS

Compliance with rules

By using Wed.in, you agree to follow all applicable laws, platform guidelines, and ethical practices. If you fail to comply, Wed.in may discontinue your access to the platform at any time in its sole discretion.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

As a registered user, you may create a profile, edit your details anytime, and write genuine reviews and feedback for vendors you have engaged with. False, misleading, or inappropriate content may result in account suspension or removal.

Intellectual Property Rights

• By accessing the platform, you acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the content, design, and overall experience of Wed.in belong to the platform.
• Users are not allowed to copy, reproduce, modify, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any material from Wed.in without express authorization.
• Any content you upload, such as reviews or profile information, must be your original work or something you have the right to share. You agree not to post any copyrighted material without proper permission.
• By submitting content to Wed.in you grant us a non-exclusive right to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for promotional or operational purposes.
• Unauthorized use of any material on the platform may result in termination of access and/or legal action.

Usage Rights

Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Wed.in for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This means you may browse the website, view content, and use the services for planning your own wedding or event.

Any unauthorized use automatically terminates your limited license to use the platform.

Refund and cancellation

Wed.in offers a wide range of wedding-related services, including but not limited to wedding photography, wedding videography, bridal makeup, mehendi artistry, wedding venues, and wedding decor. To book any of these services, an advance payment is required. Bookings are not considered confirmed until this payment is made.

Once the advance is received, the selected vendors will begin coordinating and delivering the agreed services. The amount paid in advance will be adjusted against the final balance payable at the completion of services.

Please note: Wed.in generally does not offer refunds for cancellations or dissatisfaction with services. However, in exceptional cases, a refund may be considered at our sole discretion, depending on the nature of the issue and circumstances involved. We strongly recommend reviewing vendor profiles, portfolios, and terms carefully before making any bookings.

User Generated Content

Any content you post on Wed.in such as reviews, comments, images, or profile details, is solely your responsibility. Wed.in does not monitor or verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-submitted content and shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or misleading information posted by users.

By submitting content, you agree that it complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of any third party. Wed.in reserves the right to remove or modify any content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or violates our terms of use.

Prohibited Content

Wed.in reserves the right to review and determine the appropriateness of any user-submitted content. We may remove, without prior notice or liability, any content that violates our guidelines or is deemed unsuitable for the platform.

The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

• Content that harasses, defames, or targets any individual, vendor, or business
• Content containing threats, hate speech, offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language
• Content promoting illegal activities, including any that is password-protected or intentionally concealed
• Content linking to adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit websites
• Promotional or commercial content uploaded solely for advertising or self-promotion
   

Users found violating these guidelines may face account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Prohibited Activity

By using Wed.in, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Copying, translating, modifying, reproducing, broadcasting, publicly displaying, distributing, or selling any content from Wed.in or third-party sources without proper authorization
• Engaging in criminal or harmful activities, including but not limited to child exploitation, stalking, drug trafficking, illegal gambling, copyright infringement, or distributing malicious software (e.g., viruses)
• Attempting to impersonate other users, vendors, or representatives of Wed.in
• Sharing or disclosing another user’s account details or personal information without their consent, or passing it on to any third party
• Using information obtained from Wed.in to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or business
• Advertising or distributing content received from third parties for any commercial purpose
• Using the platform or its services in a manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or Wed.in’s terms and policies

Violating these terms may result in potential legal consequences.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wed.in shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform or services. Our total liability, under any circumstance, is strictly limited to the amount you have paid to Wed.in for the specific service in question.

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused due to vendor performance, technical issues, or user-generated content.

Terms and Conditions For VENDORS

Vendor Listings

Vendors listed on Wed.in operate as independent businesses, and Wed.in does not endorse, guarantee, or certify the quality, reliability, or performance of their services. While we strive to feature credible and verified vendors, the final responsibility of evaluating and engaging with a vendor lies with the user. We strongly encourage users to conduct their own due diligence, including reviewing portfolios, service terms, and past client feedback, before making any bookings or entering into agreements.

Terms of payment 

• Vendors shall pay Wed.in a commission of 10% of the total booking value (excluding taxes) for every successful booking made through the platform.
• The payment must be remitted to Wed.in within 30 calendar days from the date the Vendor receives payment from the client.
• In the event that no payment is received from the client, the Vendor shall not be held liable to pay any commission to Wed.in.
• Failure to make the payment within 60 days of receiving client payment may result in legal action and suspension or termination of the Vendor’s association with Wed.in.
• Wed.in reserves the right to modify the commission structure with a minimum of 90 days' written notice to the Vendor.
• All payments shall be made through officially approved modes (e.g., bank transfer, UPI), and Vendors are required to provide payment confirmation when requested.

Vendor Profile Review

Reviews play a crucial role in maintaining the transparency, integrity, and overall credibility of the Wed.in platform. To ensure fairness, all reviews are subject to a verification process. If a vendor believes that a review is defamatory, misleading, or intended to damage their reputation, they may report it for review. Upon verification, if the vendor’s claim is found valid, the false or inappropriate review will be removed at the discretion of Wed.in.

Vendors are encouraged to engage with users by professionally responding to negative reviews and clarifying any misunderstandings. They may also ask users to revisit their portfolio or service history before drawing conclusions. However, vendors are strictly prohibited from offering any form of compensation or incentive in exchange for altering or deleting reviews. Additionally, once a vendor profile is created on the platform, it cannot be deleted upon request, regardless of the nature of the reviews or ratings received.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wed.in, its affiliates, partners, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, obligations, costs, debts, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

1. Your use of the Wed.in platform or services in violation of these Terms and Conditions;
2. Your breach of any term, condition, or representation contained herein;
3. Your violation of any rights of a third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights;
4. Any claim that your content caused reputational harm, financial loss, or damage to any third party.
    

This indemnity obligation will survive the termination or expiration of your relationship with Wed.in and your use of the platform.

Intellectual Property Rights

• The Vendor retains full ownership of their original content, including service deliverables, images, videos, and brand assets.
• By listing on Wed.in, the Vendor grants the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, publish, and promote their content across all digital platforms and marketing materials.
• This license includes the use of Vendor portfolios, service photos, videos, and business profiles for promotional purposes across the website, social media, and partner networks.
• The Company retains exclusive ownership over all platform-related content, layout, structure, design elements, and user data.
• Vendors are permitted to access and use platform features only to the extent necessary to deliver services to users referred by Wed.in.
• Use of Wed.in branding, user data, or proprietary content outside of the platform requires prior written consent from the Company.

Deletion of profile

Wed.in does not facilitate permanent deletion of vendor accounts once they are created on the platform. However, upon the vendor’s request and at the sole discretion of the platform, the account may be marked as "unsearchable" or "unclaimed." This means the profile will no longer appear in public search results or vendor listings, but the data will remain securely stored within the system for record-keeping, legal, or operational purposes.

Termination of services

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate a vendor’s access to the platform and associated services at any time, without prior notice, if the vendor is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions. 

Vendors may also choose to discontinue their association with Wed.in at any time. If a vendor disagrees with any part of these terms or becomes dissatisfied with the platform, their sole remedy is to cease use of the services and notify Wed.in in writing. Upon termination, the vendor’s right to access or use the platform will be revoked, and the Company shall have no obligation to retain, forward, or provide access to any leads, messages, or data associated with the vendor’s account.

Disclaimer of warranties

The services provided by Wed.in are offered strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind. Wed.in expressly disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including but not limited to warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Any advice, suggestions, or information obtained through the platform, whether oral or written, shall not create any warranty not expressly stated in these terms.

Wed.in does not guarantee that its services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that they will meet your expectations or deliver specific results. The platform is not responsible for inaccurate content, user-submitted links, third-party websites, or any content, goods, or services offered by third-party advertisers. Accessing such third-party sites or relying on their content is entirely at your own risk.

Furthermore, Wed.in assumes no responsibility for any technical issues, system failures, data loss, or damages that may occur while using the platform. We are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from the use of our services, failure to access them, or reliance on any content available on the platform.

User Dispute

Wed.in serves solely as a listing and aggregation platform and is not directly involved in the transactions or interactions between vendors and users. While Wed.in reserves the right, it has no obligation to monitor, mediate, or resolve disputes that may arise between vendors and users. However, in situations deemed necessary by the Company, Wed.in may intervene at its sole discretion. The Company also reserves the right to suspend or terminate access of any user, either with or without cause, if their actions are found to be disruptive, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Third-party campaigns

Vendors acknowledge that any purchases or engagements made through third-party platforms are governed by the terms and conditions of those respective platforms. Such purchases are intended solely for the purpose of delivering services to clients referred through Wed.in. Vendors are required to use these campaigns strictly for their intended purpose and must not repurpose, misuse, or divert them for unrelated commercial activities or personal gain.

Grievance cell

If you encounter any violation of our terms by another user, such as the posting of obscene material, infringement of intellectual property, impersonation, or any other objectionable activity, you are encouraged to report the matter in writing to our Grievance Officer at info@wed.in. 

All complaints will be handled with due diligence and appropriate action will be taken after necessary verification. Violations may include unauthorized use of someone else’s content, offensive or harmful material, content that endangers child safety, infringement of copyrights, trademarks, or patents, impersonation, dissemination of false or misleading information, threats to public order or national security, or the spread of malware. 

Wed.in is committed to maintaining a safe and compliant platform and will take necessary action in accordance with applicable laws upon receiving valid complaints.
